Enjoy complete family escapism with a magical festival made just for children. WILDHOOD has partnered with Scotland’s wonderful wizards of creative and outdoor pursuits, alongside masters of traditional arts & crafts to present a weekend of adventure filled with family activities, arts and crafts, music and theatrical magic. Aimed at children 12 and under with their families, it’s a small festival with limited ticket numbers and camping places. All activities, workshops & experiences are included in your ticket price, the only thing you’ll need to pay for at the festival is food & drink from carefully chosen, independent foodies on site.
Our 2020 theme is FARMYARD! Expect a toe-tapping hoedown set amongst our WILDHOOD Farmyard with lots and lots of surprises round each corner.

Jo Jingles loves Christmas. Jo is so excited for our popular Christmas Parties on Saturday 7th December in Viewfield Baptist Church in Dunfermline. Suitable for little ones age 3 months to age 7. There will be singing, dancing, instruments, snowballs, bubbles and lots more including a visit from our special guest Big Jo. All details and ticket link can be found on our Facebook page. We also have lots of other great items for all ages to paint from £5 upwards, and, of course, our very popular Baubles which children can paint or pop hand-prints on either at £10 or £12. We have something for everyone to enjoy and all prices.
For Fife for Kid followers we can offer you a 10% discount on ceramics over £9 – just pop into the Studio and say “It’s our first Christmas” to one of the staff members.
We have Gift Vouchers which can be made out to any value, and our popular Bring Me Back packs – where you purchase a ceramic of your choice, we wrap it up and include a tag which tells the recipient of the present what to do; again something for every age (including adults!).
This year we are also offering the chance for a Family Cookie Making Experience, cost is £14 per person which includes a buffet, drinks and the chance to decorate 5 cookies each (we supply everything you need) – you need to pre-book and pay for this so call the studio on 01383 223280 to check availability – spaces are limited to one per day so get booking soon!

Andrew Carnegie Birthplace Museum have a wonderful little gift shop at the museum which stocks a range of products, from local artwork and pottery, children’s books and sustainable toys, to a wide range of traditional damask linen.
We have plenty of treats and stocking fillers for the little ones this Christmas. From Best Year’s ethically sourced knitted dinosaur pals and rubber teething toys, novelty Xmas T-rexs or Diplodocuses to jazz up your tree, and our ever popular ‘Victorian Ipad’ slates, we certainly have a treat for everyone. You could even walk away with one of Andrew Carnegie’s fluffy pet bunnies and give one a good home this Christmas.

On Saturday 16th November there will be a Festive Shopping Day at the museum with selected lines discounted across our shop and some small activities to occupy the little ones as you browse.
